Recycled Art

I googled images of recycled art, and was very impressed. I love the concept. What artists who create this type of work do is collect items meant for the trash and use them in art projects. Using throw-aways in artwork reinforces the value of all things. Certainly, not everything we throw away can be reused. Using some of it not only brings into existence a new work of art, but emphasizes the concept of meaning.

I wrote a poem about recycling called Harvey Van Shrout who loved to throw "everything" out. His wife, however, took some of those throw-aways and recycled them into masterpieces.
